The Dot Martin Scholarship Golf Classic is a four-person scramble (best ball) tournament.  Teams can be pre-selected by participants or individuals will be grouped together into teams by the tournament committee. Participation in the Dot Martin Classic, one of the premiere fundraisers for the Department, will assist the KSU Athletic Department to raise scholarship dollars for student-athletes who compete and win at the highest levels both in the classroom and on the athletic field of competition.

Kennesaw State Athletics has a proud history of success, with seven Team National Championships and five individual national titles and over 100 All American honors. The department took yet another step forward in national prominence when its status was elevated to the NCAA Division I level. Since making the transition, the program's success has not slowed down, with teams already having compiled 13 conference championships and individuals having garnered a pair of All-American honors.
All student athletes will benefit from the generous support of the participants, sponsors and volunteers involved with this great event. Your continuous help and support allow us to continue this wonderful tradition for many years to come.

The Kennesaw State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is proud to announce that the 17th Annual Dot Martin Scholarship Classic, one of the primary fundraisers for KSU Athletics, raised a record-setting $67,300 to help fund student-athlete scholarships.

A record-breaking 140 players participated in the 2011 event at the BridgeMill Athletic Club.

Athletic scholarship costs represent roughly one-third of the annual departmental budget, and the money raised during the Dot Martin Scholarship Classic helps to offset some of the financial pressures of funding those scholarships. In total, the event has raised over $425,000 for athletic scholarships, including an impressive $307,000 over the past five years.

If you are interested in being a part of next years Dot Martin Classic, as a sponsor, player or volunteer, or to provide feedback, please contact George Olney at 770-499-3459 or email to dotmartin@kennesaw.edu.

Rain Policy:
In the event of inclement weather, BridgeMill will decide if the course is playable and if the conditions warrant closing the club, every registered player will receive a certificate for a complimentary round of golf Monday through Thursday at the Bridgemill course.
